After analysing dozens of recent quotes from web agencies across Martinique, we uncovered something that should give every entrepreneur on the island pause: for the very same service (a professional responsive showcase website), prices swing from $199 to over $5,000. A 25x gap on identical work.

This lack of transparency in Martinique's web creation market is no accident. It serves agencies that prefer to negotiate case by case, sometimes inflating quotes based on what they think a client can afford. The ones who pay the price are small businesses, artisans, restaurant owners, freelancers and detends-toit.com in their online presence without any reliable way to know whether they are being charged fairly.

This article is different from anything else you will find searching for "website Martinique pricing." We gathered five real recent quotes from local and national agencies, broke down the public pricing of four other players, and reconstructed the true cost of a website over three and five years, hidden fees included. By the end, you will know exactly what to ask, what to check, and what to pay for a website in Martinique in 2026.

We will also explain why IT Luxuoso chose to make everything public, why we offer payment plans over 12, 24 or 36 months (unique in this market), and why a website should be thought of as an investment that pays for itself, not an expense that drains your cash flow.

Why Is It So Hard to Get a Clear Price for a Website in Martinique?

If you have ever asked for a quote to build your website in Martinique, the scenario probably feels familiar. You fill out a form, you are offered a meeting, you are asked about your budget before anyone even mentions a price, and the quote that lands in your inbox two weeks later is wrapped in fog.

This opacity is not accidental. It is the product of several dynamics specific to the Martinique market.

Agencies that never publish their rates online. This is the bulk of the local market. Smart Agency, Red Bean Agency, Pandora Media, Digital Freedom Caraïbe, BPM Lunace (no longer exists), Beecee, K Ops: none of these agencies publish its prices. The official reason is that every project is unique. The unofficial reason is that this allows the quote to be tailored to the prospect's profile. A clearly established business will be quoted higher than a young entrepreneur asking for the exact same work.

Agencies with “starting from” prices that mask the real cost. Another common strategy is advertising an attractive entry-level offer (for example, “showcase website starting from $700”) before adding monthly fees, premium options, and long-term commitments. Some providers can quickly exceed $6,000 within the first months depending on the selected features, support level, advertising, SEO, or automation services.

Freelancers with wildly inconsistent quotes. The freelance segment is the most chaotic of all. For a five-page showcase site, you will find freelancers at $200 and others at $3,000. Quality, support and longevity vary accordingly.

The "island market" effect. With roughly 350,000 inhabitants, Martinique is a small market. Few players actively compete in the open. Agencies know each other, avoid certain segments, and nobody has any real incentive to break ranks on pricing. Opacity protects margins.

Who pays the price for this opacity? Small businesses and artisans, mostly. They lack the time and expertise to compare five inconsistent quotes, so they go with the agency a friend recommended, or the first one to call them back, with no real sense of whether the price is fair.

    AgencyPrices Published Online
    IT LuxuosoYes, transparent configurator
    LinkeoPartial (starting from $60/month)
    Ludivine LabridyYes, complete
    KaruwebYes
    Havas PublidomYes
    Smart AgencyNo
    Pandora MediaNo
    Digital Freedom CaraïbeNo
Red Bean AgencyYes, full price list
    BPM Lunace (no longer exists)No

Out of the ten major players we examined, only five publish their prices openly. IT Luxuoso is the only premium web agency in Martinique, and that positioning extends all the way to how we communicate about pricing. While other agencies ask you to fill out a form, wait for a callback and negotiate in a meeting room, IT Luxuoso built the only online quote configurator on the Martinique market: a tool that calculates the exact prices of your project in real time, based on the package you pick, your chosen payment terms, and any add-on options you select.

For a premium agency, transparency does not end with the quality of the delivered work. It starts from the very first interaction. You get a personalised, instant price, with no form to fill in and no need to hand over your phone number to a sales rep who will call you three times that week.

Starting from $57 per month, you can explore, simulate as many scenarios as you want, and take your time. You, and only you, decide if and when you reach out to us. No follow-up emails. No pressure. That, too, is what premium looks like.

Understanding the Three Categories of Players Before Asking for a Quote

To make sense of the price gaps in Martinique's web creation market, you first need to identify the three broad categories of players that share it. Each has its own economic logic, strengths and limitations.

Infographics: 3 categories of actors in Martinique's website creation market, influencing devis.

French Agencies with a Local Branch

These are national companies that deployed a team in Martinique to grab a slice of the local market. Linkeo, Solocal, Webador, Smart Agency and Publidom (Havas group) all fit this category. They benefit from national infrastructure, well-oiled processes and proven tools.

The main upside for the client is structural solidity: a Linkeo site is not going to vanish overnight. Support is multi-site, teams are trained, procedures are documented.

The main downside is standardisation. These agencies handle thousands of clients a year, and their offers are calibrated for scale-driven profitability. That means limited customisation, restricted templates and, above all, long contractual commitments. Linkeo, for example, locks you into a 36-month subscription on its most popular plans. For three years, you pay every month, and the site never quite becomes yours.

Typical agency pricing: several thousand dollars in upfront design and development fees, with monthly subscriptions that can exceed $1,500 USD depending on the level of customization, features, and ongoing support required.

    Established Local Agencies

These are the historical names of Martinique's digital landscape: BPM Lunace (no longer exists), Pandora Media, Digital Freedom Caraïbe, Beecee, K Ops, Nasdy. Many have five to twenty years of local experience, working with the island's largest companies, public institutions and local authorities.

Their biggest advantage is a deep understanding of the Martinique market: they know the cultural codes, the seasonal cycles, the local buying behaviours. They have strong professional networks and can open doors. Proximity is real, and you can meet them in person.

The downside is twofold. First, prices are high: a professional showcase site rarely goes below $3,000 with these players, and an e-commerce site often crosses $5,000. Second, commercial opacity: none of these agencies publishes its prices, which makes comparison difficult and creates significant variability depending on the client profile.

Typical pricing: $2,000 to $9,000 for the initial build, plus ongoing monthly services that can easily exceed $230 per month.

    Freelancers and Micro-Agencies

This third category covers the most affordable players, but also the most uneven in quality. Ludivine Labridy, Karuweb and many WordPress freelancers across the island operate in this space.

The main upside is price: a showcase site can be found around $500 with some freelancers, which opens the door to a professional web presence for very small structures. Flexibility is another asset: no heavy structure, direct communication.

The main downside is the lack of continuity. What happens if your freelancer stops their activity, goes on a long holiday, or falls ill the week your site breaks? Strategic support is also limited: a freelancer usually delivers a working site, but does not stick around to help you grow your digital strategy.

Typical pricing: $200 to $3,000 depending on the freelancer, expertise and scope.

    IT Luxuoso's Hybrid Positioning

IT Luxuoso does not fit into any of these three categories, and that is intentional. Our hybrid positioning combines the structure of an agency (multidisciplinary team, rigorous methods, long-term support) with the flexibility of a freelancer (transparent pricing, speed, and human proximity).

In practice, this means publicly displayed pricing, payment plans spread over 12, 24, or 36 months without endless subscriptions, and a native French-English bilingual website, something still extremely rare among Caribbean web agencies.

Our ambition has been international from day one. Our collaborators are already spread across multiple countries, and some of our platforms, such as ProEvent97 and MonBonKado, are already visited internationally. Our mission is simple: give local ideas a global reach.

For businesses or associations that simply want an immediate online presence without complications, we also offer a temporary “website under construction” solution for only $199, even without ordering the final website. It goes live within 48 hours to ensure immediate visibility on Google and with potential customers.

At the other end of the spectrum, we also build far more advanced platforms like MonBonKado, with monthly payments that can approach $500 due to the integrated features, automations, and scalability. Thanks to the payment installment model and the platform’s business potential, these projects often become profitable before the website is even fully paid off.

Finally, our process starts with a unique strategic meeting. While most agencies organize traditional office meetings, we meet our clients in the place that matters most to them: by the sea, at the river, on a hike, or in an inspiring location somewhere in Martinique. Our goal is to deeply understand their vision in order to build a project designed to go far, very far.

Four Real Quotes Analyzed: What Businesses Actually Pay

For this article, we analyzed four real quotes issued by web agencies in Martinique less than two years ago. The prices, services, and contractual conditions presented below come from authentic PDF documents. To preserve client anonymity and protect sensitive information, several elements have been intentionally blurred or hidden. It is also possible that some agencies may have updated their offers or pricing since these quotes were originally issued.

Quote #1: BPM Lunace (Now Defunct) for a WordPress WooCommerce E-commerce Website Proposal

Detailed quote for e-commerce website creation and associated services by a web agency.

A quote issued less than two years ago by the former agency BPM Lunace (previously based in Fort-de-France before ceasing operations), for the creation of a WordPress WooCommerce e-commerce website. The project notably included the integration of around 500 products, a Stripe payment module, back-office training, and website maintenance.

    • Total including tax: $6,150.00
    • Monthly technical fees: $260.00 incl. tax / month for a minimum of 24 months
    • Minimum contractual commitment: 24 months, with cancellation possible afterward (2 months’ notice required)
    • Real total cost over 3 years: $6,150 + ($260 × 36) = $15,510.00 incl. tax

The analysis of this quote highlights a crucial point that is often overlooked: the monthly technical fees of $210 excl. tax continue for as long as the website is used. In practice, this means the real cost can exceed $18,000 over five years for this e-commerce website. The general terms also specify that the domain name remains the property of the agency after the contract ends, creating a strong technical and commercial dependency.

Another important point: BPM Lunace no longer exists today. In situations like this, many businesses completely lose access to their website, maintenance, or related online services. And when a project has already cost close to $10,000, this can become extremely problematic and frustrating for the company involved.

Quote #2: Pandora Media for an E-commerce Site

A quote issued less than two years ago by Pandora Media Agency (based in Le Lamentin) for the creation of a WordPress WooCommerce e-commerce website. The project notably included around 30 product pages, a custom design, SEO optimization, a French-English bilingual version, and maintenance during the first year.

A detailed quote for e-commerce website creation in Martinique, showing services and pre-tax/post-tax prices.

    • Total including tax: $5,700
    • Full website creation billed as a single line item: $5,250 excl. tax
    • Hosting and domain name: billed separately on a yearly basis (pricing varies depending on the hosting provider)
    • Maintenance: separate yearly fee after the first year
    • Estimated real cost over 3 years: $7,400 to $9,200 including tax with renewed hosting and maintenance fees

The Pandora Media quote appears simpler and more transparent than the one from BPM Lunace (now defunct), but follows a similar logic: the displayed amount mainly covers the initial website creation and the first year of services, while hosting, maintenance, and technical costs continue afterward on a recurring yearly basis. From year two onwards, hosting, domain name and maintenance add up to a yearly bill that compounds over time. A site that looks like a $5,000 investment upfront easily reaches $8,000 over three years.

Quote #3: Digital Freedom Caraïbe for an E-commerce Site

Another Digital Freedom Caraïbe quote, this time for a WordPress WooCommerce e-commerce site with 5 products included, payment modules and first-year maintenance offered.

A detailed quote for the creation and annual maintenance of a WordPress e-commerce website, with pre-tax and post-tax costs.

    • Total including tax: $4,640
    • Deposit required upfront: $2,320
    • 5 products included, additional products billed separately
    • 3 edits included, additional changes may incur extra fees
    • First year of maintenance included, renewal at $595 incl. tax/year
    • Real cost over 3 years: $4,640 + (2 × $595) = $5,830 incl. tax

This quote from Digital Freedom Caraïbe reflects a fairly common approach in the Martinique web market: a relatively accessible entry price for a WordPress WooCommerce e-commerce website, but with a high upfront deposit of more than $2,300 required at the time of order. The package only includes five products, with additional products billed separately, as well as a limited number of edits before extra charges may apply. Maintenance is included only for the first year and then becomes a recurring yearly expense. Over time, the real cost can therefore rise significantly beyond the initial advertised amount, especially for an online store expected to grow.

Quote #4: IT Luxuoso and the Scalable E-commerce Approach

While many agencies try to sell a large and complex e-commerce website right away, IT Luxuoso takes a smarter approach: quickly launching a website capable of attracting visitors, generating sales, and evolving progressively alongside the real growth of the business.

Detailed quote from IT Luxuoso for a business showcase website and Google ad campaign.

    • Total including tax: $8,700
    • Initial deposit: $2,175 incl. tax
    • 36 monthly payments of $181 incl. tax
    • Many clients start upgrading their platform with IT Luxuoso after the first results, often within around 6 months.
    • Real cost over 6 months: $2,175 + ($181 × 6) = $3,261 incl. tax

Unlike many agencies that immediately push businesses toward a heavy, expensive, and complex e-commerce setup, IT Luxuoso takes a far more strategic approach: investing first in visibility and sales before making the platform more advanced.

The goal is simple: start generating revenue quickly with an elegant, flexible, and scalable website instead of spending thousands of dollars on advanced features without visitors. While many agencies require most of the project to be paid within 4 to 12 installments, IT Luxuoso allows businesses to start with a far more accessible investment while still maintaining a premium image.

Our client Wash & Go is a perfect example. At first, their website was only a simple one-page presentation website. Today, it has evolved into a much more advanced multi-page platform while still operating without direct integrated payments on the website itself. Yet thanks to the strategy implemented and the use of external payment platforms, the business has been processing multiple average orders above $100 every single day for nearly a year.

At an even higher level, MonBonKado, also developed by IT Luxuoso, integrates online payments directly and reaches an international diaspora audience. The average order value is also around $100, but with a significantly larger reach and higher transaction volume.

This ability to intelligently build a project step by step is precisely what sets IT Luxuoso apart from most web agencies in Martinique today. In practice, after only a few months, many clients are the ones asking to move to a more advanced version of their platform because the first results already begin naturally financing the growth of the project itself.

Summary Table of the Four Analysed Quotes

AgencyWebsite TypeActual Amount Paid After 6 MonthsCommitmentKey Specificities
BPM Lunace (now defunct)WooCommerce E-commerce~$7,700Minimum 24 monthsHigh recurring fees, technical dependency
Pandora MediaWooCommerce E-commerce~$5,700Not specifiedHosting and maintenance billed separately
Digital Freedom CaraïbeWooCommerce E-commerce~$4,640Renewable maintenanceLimited products and modifications
IT LuxuosoScalable E-commerce~$3,260Flexible 36 monthsVisibility-first strategy, scalable platform

This table highlights a reality that is often overlooked when choosing a web agency in Martinique: the cheapest quote at first glance is not necessarily the most profitable or the most affordable during the first months. Some agencies require a large portion of the payment upfront, while others add significant recurring fees or heavily restrict how the website can evolve.

By contrast, IT Luxuoso’s approach is designed to reduce as much as possible the actual amount spent at the beginning of the project in order to focus the budget on what matters most early on: visibility, customer acquisition, and rapid revenue generation. This positioning is intentional, because at IT Luxuoso, we do not simply build websites: we give local ideas a global reach.

The Agencies That Dare to Show Their Prices: A Comparative Analysis

Five players in the Martinique market made the choice to publish their pricing online. This transparency makes comparison easier and helps clarify each player's positioning. Here is the detailed analysis.

IT Luxuoso: Total Transparency and Strategy First

IT Luxuoso made a rare choice on the Martinique market: publicly displaying its entire pricing structure through a transparent configurator that calculates pricing in real time based on the level of customization and payment plan selected.

Unlike many agencies that try to get clients to pay for a full website as quickly as possible, IT Luxuoso follows a simple principle: a website only becomes truly profitable with traffic, visibility, and time. Paying upfront is therefore not always the smartest decision for a growing business.

That is why every installment plan systematically includes 1 full year of maintenance with unlimited minor requests. The goal is clear: actively support the website during its most important phase, when it starts generating its first real results on Google and with customers.

IT Luxuoso also offers a unique entry-level offer on the market: a one-page “website under construction,” delivered within 48 hours for only $215, designed for businesses, associations, and entrepreneurs who want an immediate online presence without technical complexity.

_Prices in USD. EUR→USD conversion rate: 1 EUR = 1.08 USD. Martinique VAT (8.5%) included in “incl. tax” prices. Deposit fixed at 25% of the financed total._

Ludivine Labridy: The Accessible Freelance Segment

Ludivine Labridy is a Martinique-based freelancer who publishes a clear pricing grid on her website.

    • One-page mini site: $230 incl. VAT
    • Showcase site: $570 incl. VAT
    • E-commerce site: $1,150 incl. VAT

These rates are among the most accessible on the market, which makes this option appealing for very small structures starting out with a tight budget. All sites are built on WordPress, delivered turnkey, with an emphasis on client autonomy (you learn to update your site yourself).

The limitations are worth knowing: designs are based on existing templates (more than 200 models to choose from, but no real custom design), there is no long-term strategic support, and the client is left responsible for the site's evolution. For a coach, a therapist or an artisan who just wants a simple web presence, this is enough. For an ambitious business that wants to stand out visually, it is not.

    Karuweb: The Local Mid-Range

Karuweb offers an intermediate pricing grid between freelance and full agency.

    • One-page showcase website: $920 incl. tax
    • 4-page showcase website: $1,610 incl. tax
    • E-commerce website: $2,300 incl. tax

Maintenance is included for two months, then invoiced separately. The positioning is coherent: more structured than a solo freelancer, more affordable than a large local agency. It is a valid option for small businesses that want a decent site without unnecessary complexity.

Havas Publidom, La Cellule Digitale: AI as an Accelerator

The digital cell of the Havas Publidom group offers a modern approach built around artificial intelligence to accelerate production.

    • Starter Express AI: from $680 excl. tax (around $735 incl. tax) with delivery in 1 to 2 days
    • Pro Essential AI: from $1,020 excl. tax (around $1,110 incl. tax) with 5 AI-generated pages and human refinements
    • Premium Custom AI+: from $1,940 excl. tax (around $2,105 incl. tax) with unlimited pages

Hosting is never included, adding $50 to $150 a year to the bill. The pricing is aggressive thanks to AI-driven speed, but quality varies. A site generated by AI in two days will inevitably have less soul and personalisation than a site designed over several weeks with a proper strategic brief. For a one-off event, a campaign landing page or a quick online presence, this works. For positioning a premium brand over the long term, the approach hits its limits.

Linkeo: The Subscription Model with Commitment

Linkeo only partially shows its prices, with a "starting from" disclaimer, and does not indicate commitment duration on its pricing page.

    • Showcase website: $690 excl. tax setup + $70 excl. tax/month with commitment
    • Catalogue website: $920 excl. tax setup + $92 excl. tax/month
    • E-commerce website: by quotation
    • Google Business profile: $345 excl. tax + $58 excl. tax/month

Over three years, a Linkeo showcase website costs around $3,860 excl. tax ($690 + 36 × $70), while a catalogue website costs around $4,230 excl. tax. The real trap is the subscription model: you never truly own the website, and if you stop paying, the site disappears. Over five years, the total cost rises to approximately $4,830 to $5,520 excl. tax for a website you still do not control.

Red Bean Agency: Welcome Transparency and Longer Maintenance

Red Bean Agency publishes its rates openly on its site, a practice worth applauding.

    • One-page showcase website: from $1,840 with custom design, Google visibility optimisation, responsive design, Google Business profile, 1 year of hosting, 1 year domain name, 6 months of maintenance, and training
    • 5-page showcase website: from $2,990 with blog, 1 year hosting, 1 year domain name, 8 months of maintenance, and training
    • E-commerce website: from $4,140 with optimised online store, first 30 products included, 1 year hosting, 1 year domain name, 12 months of maintenance, and training

Red Bean Agency's strong point is the length of included maintenance: 6 months on the one-page, 8 on the showcase, 12 on the e-commerce. That is well above most competitors, which stop at 2 or 3 months. The prices are advertised as "from," meaning the final price may evolve depending on the brief. Note that payment terms are not specified online, and that hosting and domain name are offered only for the first year.

The Hidden Costs of a Website in Martinique

The price shown on a quote never reflects the true cost of a website. To compare two offers honestly, you need to factor in five categories of hidden costs that most agencies do not highlight in their commercial proposals.

    The Domain Name

The market reality is more nuanced: a standard .com or .fr domain name generally costs between $11 and $16 per year through registrars such as OVH, Gandi, or GoDaddy. However, .mq domain names, which are much rarer and specific to Martinique, can quickly become very expensive and sometimes reach around $540 per year depending on the registrar and conditions applied, without providing a truly significant advantage for most businesses.

What agencies charge: between $55 and $165 per year, often labeled as “domain name management fees.” The hidden margin is usually around $45 to $150 per year, or $130 to $455 over three years.

Worse still, some agencies (BPM Lunace (no longer exists) is explicit on this in its terms) retain ownership of the domain name after the contract ends. You pay every year, but the domain is not yours.

At IT Luxuoso, the domain name is included throughout the entire payment period (1, 2, or 3 years depending on the selected package). To simplify project management, we generally recommend handling it for our clients because it is directly connected to important technical elements such as professional emails, analytics, security, and other services linked to the website.

However, this is absolutely not mandatory. If the client prefers, the domain name can be registered directly under their ownership and full control from day one. Some of our clients already manage their own domain names when they have the necessary technical skills.

    Hosting

The market reality: quality web hosting typically costs between $5.50 and $16.50 per month depending on the provider and server infrastructure (OVH, Hostinger, o2switch).

What agencies charge: between $22 and $55 per month on average, sometimes even more for offers presented as “premium” or “all-inclusive.” Over three years, this can represent between $780 and $1,950 in additional fees compared to the real cost of the service.

Some agencies impose their own hosting solution, making it difficult to switch providers later on. Others leave the entire responsibility to the client. At IT Luxuoso, hosting is naturally included throughout the entire contract period in order to simplify website management as much as possible and ensure strong performance.

However, just like with the domain name, this is not mandatory: some clients prefer managing this part themselves when they already have the necessary skills or their own infrastructure.

    Maintenance

The market reality: properly maintaining a WordPress website generally costs between $11 and $33 per month in real technical expenses (updates, backups, security monitoring).

What agencies charge: between $45 and $110 per month.

But the real issue is not the price, it is the quality of the maintenance. At most agencies, maintenance is reactive: you pay around $55 per month and nothing actually happens unless you report a problem. It is essentially like an insurance policy that only activates once something breaks.

At IT Luxuoso, maintenance is proactive: we analyse every client's site every quarter, identify possible improvements (performance, Google visibility, security, conversion), and present them as concrete suggestions. When the client spots an issue on their side, they send a WhatsApp message and receive, within the week at the latest, a screenshot of the fix for validation. Once validated, it is pushed live.

    Post-Delivery Modifications

Once your site is delivered, you will inevitably want changes: edit a text, swap a photo, update a price, add a new service. Depending on the agency, these modifications are free, billed per hour, or invoiced per item.

    • BPM Lunace (no longer exists): 3 hours per month included in the technical fee, then $98 excl. VAT per hour beyond
    • Pandora Media: modifications billed per item after initial delivery
    • Digital Freedom Caraïbe: 3 revisions included during the production phase, then billed
    • Linkeo: varies depending on the contract

IT Luxuoso is a special case: minor modifications are unlimited under the terms for the entire contract duration. That means a client on a 24-month Business package can request text changes, image swaps, price updates or small tweaks as often as needed, at no extra cost.

    "Optional" Features

Quotes often display an attractive base price and then charge separately for features that should arguably be standard.

    • Payment module for an e-commerce website: often billed at $325 excl. tax or more on top of the website itself. BPM Lunace (now defunct), for example, charged at least $325 excl. tax for the banking/payment module alone.
    • Visibility on Google beyond basic setup: usually paid
    • Multilingual support (French + English or another language): often billed as an additional service
    • Member area or client login: very often extra
    • Online booking module: paid add-on
    • WhatsApp or Messenger chat integration: sometimes billed

At IT Luxuoso, the features included in each package are clearly detailed in the online configurator. Some options are not part of the base packages and are offered as add-ons, but always transparently and without surprises.

What sets our approach apart is how we handle every additional need. Instead of imposing a single solution at a fixed price, we systematically offer three options to our clients, so the proposal fits their budget, their ambition, and their stage of development.

Take the example of a Martinique business that wants to translate its website to reach the English-speaking Caribbean market. We would present three levels:

    • Option 1: AI-only translation, quick and economical, sufficient for a basic presence in another language
    • Option 2: AI translation reviewed and corrected by a native translator, for a natural, professional result that inspires confidence in foreign visitors
    • Option 3: AI translation, native review, plus full technical optimisation to rank in first position on Google in the target language, targeting precise queries in Saint Lucia, Dominica or Barbados

The same logic applies to every evolution: online booking, client area, payment module, blog, product catalogue. Three tiers, three budgets, three horizons of ambition. The client decides knowingly and knows exactly what they get at each level.

    Contractual Commitment

The final hidden cost is the long-term contractual commitment. Some contracts lock you in for 24, 36 or even 48 months, with automatic renewal.

    • Linkeo: 36-month subscription with cancellation possible afterward under notice conditions
    • BPM Lunace (now defunct): minimum 24-month commitment with mandatory monthly technical fees
    • Webador: subscription automatically renewed through tacit renewal
    • IT Luxuoso: no endless subscription and no automatic renewal. After the selected duration (upfront, 12, 24, or 36 months), the client becomes the full owner of the website and remains completely free. They can continue working with an agency that already deeply understands their business, goals, and history, or manage the project themselves at any time.

This difference fundamentally changes the profitability of a website. With a traditional subscription model, businesses often keep paying for years without ever truly owning their platform. With the IT Luxuoso model, every payment progressively builds a real digital asset that ultimately belongs entirely to the business.

Seven Criteria to Choose the Agency That Really Fits You

Beyond the price, seven criteria should guide your choice of agency for your website in Martinique. None of them is enough on its own, but together they let you filter offers and make an informed decision.

    Criterion 1: Pricing Transparency

An agency that refuses to publish its prices online, or that insists on a meeting before sharing rates, often has something to hide. Transparency is the first signal of trust. Make sure all costs are included in the initial quote: if you see "starting from," always ask for the all-inclusive price for your specific case.

Criterion 2: Commitment Period and Ownership

The key question to ask: who owns the site, the domain name, the hosting and the content after the contract ends? Read the terms carefully. BPM Lunace (now defunct), for example, explicitly states that the provider retains domain name ownership after the contract, creating a dependency. With Linkeo, the site is deactivated if you stop the subscription.

This question feels theoretical until the day you want to switch agencies, redesign your site, or simply take back control.

    Criterion 3: Quality of Maintenance

As explained above, there are two types of maintenance. Reactive maintenance waits for you to report a problem. Proactive maintenance anticipates, analyses your site regularly, and suggests improvements. The difference shows over time: a site under proactive maintenance stays fast and well-ranked year after year. A site under reactive maintenance slowly deteriorates.

Ask your agency: "How often do you analyse my site without me asking?" If the answer is "never unless you flag a problem," you have your answer.

    Criterion 4: The Payment Model

Four models coexist on the Martinique market:

    • Upfront payment: you pay $3,000 to $8,000 in one go. Not accessible to all structures, and strategically debatable (your cash flow disappears for an asset you will amortise over several years).
    • Short instalments (4 to 6 times): enough for small projects, insufficient for complete professional sites.
    • Perpetual subscription: you pay forever without ever becoming the owner.
    • Long-term payment plan with ownership at the end: you spread over 12, 24 or 36 months and become the owner at the end. This is the IT Luxuoso model, unique on the Martinique market.

    The T-Shirt Metaphor

I see business websites like someone's favourite t-shirt.

When you are a kid, you have favourite cartoons like Spiderman or Totally Spies, and you can wear those t-shirts everywhere. They represent you. They say something about who you are. But when you grow up, would you go to a business meeting wearing them? Obviously not.

A website works the same way. At the beginning, you start small. A simple presentation page, a few services listed, a contact form. That is legitimate and even smart: you do not yet know how your activity will evolve.

Then you evolve. You add services, reach new clients, move upmarket. And the real question becomes: can your agency grow with you? Or will it leave you wearing your Spiderman t-shirt while your competitors show up in a tailored suit?

The best agency is not the fastest or the cheapest. It is the one that will know you well enough to be there at every evolution. Not a one-shot delivery. A long-term partnership.

At IT Luxuoso, partnership is what we do. From the very beginning, we start with a two-hour strategy meeting where we go deep into the client's vision. We meet them in a place that matters to them: the river, the sea, a favourite café, their workshop. The idea is to come alone, without a laptop, with only a notebook. There, we get to the heart of things right away. We understand the vision before talking about pixels.

    Criterion 5: Long-Term Support Capacity

An agency that delivers your site and disappears is like buying a car with no dealership for servicing. Ask your agency how they handle long-term follow-up: who you talk to in case of issues, how fast they respond, who handles your strategic evolutions two years after delivery.

Criterion 6: Capacity to Go International

How many Martinique agencies have their own website in English? Very few. And yet the English-speaking Caribbean market (Saint Lucia, Dominica, Saint Vincent, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados) represents millions of consumers and entrepreneurs reachable from Martinique.

IT Luxuoso is one of the only Martinique agencies with a natively bilingual French-English website. It is proof by action: if we know how to position our own brand in the English-speaking Caribbean, we know how to do it for you too.

Targeting English-speaking Caribbean markets? IT Luxuoso is one of the only Martinique agencies with a native bilingual structure. We help local businesses expand their reach to Saint Lucia, Dominica, Trinidad, Barbados and beyond.

Criterion 7: Custom Design vs AI Templates

The market is seeing a boom in AI-generated websites. Havas Publidom, Wix, Hostinger AI and many others offer sites built in a few minutes by AI. It is fast and cheap.

The trap is that they all look alike. When you launch your AI site, you quickly notice that ten other businesses in your sector have the exact same structure, sometimes even the same generated copy and stock visuals. Standing out becomes difficult.

The right balance is to use AI as a production accelerator while keeping strong human art direction. At IT Luxuoso, we use AI tools to quickly generate visual variations, accelerate content writing, and optimise Google visibility, but the strategic brief and the art direction remain human. That is what makes the difference between a site that genuinely speaks of you, and a site that could belong to anyone.

Payment Plans Over 12, 24 or 36 Months: Why This Model Changes Everything

IT Luxuoso's instalment model is not a commercial detail. It is a strategic choice designed for the economic realities of Martinique businesses.

    The Problem with Upfront Payment

Ask any small business in Martinique whether they can pull $5,000 to $8,000 out of their cash flow in one go for a website. The honest answer is no, in 90% of cases. The result: the business postpones its web project indefinitely, or settles for a "cheap" $500 site that never converts and will need to be redone in two years.

Beyond the question of cash capacity, upfront payment poses an accounting and strategic problem that is often overlooked. When you pay $8,000 in one go, your cash flow disappears immediately (and we all know how critical cash flow is on a small island). But for accounting purposes, you must amortise this asset over several years. The consequence: a heavy immediate hit on your treasury, without the benefit of fully deducting the expense in the year you paid for it.

Paying for your site over monthly instalments changes this equation. Monthly payments naturally fit into your operating expenses, which can be strategically more advantageous if you are subject to corporate tax (consult your accountant for your specific situation). And most importantly, your cash flow stays available for what really matters: hiring, buying stock, investing in marketing.

    The Problem with Perpetual Subscriptions

The Linkeo model and other open-ended subscriptions create the opposite problem. On paper, $80/month seems modest. But over 36 months, that is already $2,880. Over 5 years, $4,800. Over 10 years, nearly $10,000. And at the end, if you stop the subscription, the site is deactivated. You never owned your web asset.

It is the equivalent of renting the same car for 10 years without ever owning it. At some point, you will have paid three times the purchase price without the benefit of ownership.

The IT Luxuoso Model: Instalments Plus Ownership

Three durations to choose from, depending on your capacity and your strategic horizon:

    • 12 months: higher monthly payment, but you are the owner in one year
    • 24 months: balance between manageable monthly charge and faster ownership
    • 36 months: lowest monthly payment, ownership at the end of three years

At the end of the chosen duration, the site, the domain name, the content, all of it becomes your total property. No tacit renewal. No penalty. You are free to continue with us for maintenance, evolutions, digital marketing, or to walk away.

    Concrete Return on Investment Calculations

Spreading the payment turns a website from a cost centre into an investment that pays for itself from the very first year. Here are two real-world examples.

Example 1: A Martinique restaurant with a Business package over 24 months

Imagine a Martinique restaurant investing in a Business package at $4,340 incl. VAT, spread over 24 months at $229/month.

With a site optimised for local Google visibility and conversion, let's assume it generates just 3 additional reservations per week thanks to its improved Google ranking. Average bill for a table of two: $120 ($60 per person).

    Calculation: 3 reservations × 52 weeks × $120 = $18,720 in additional revenue per year

Average gross margin in restaurants (40%): $7,488 of additional net margin per year

    Site cost over 12 months: $229 × 12 = $2,748

Net return in the first year: +$4,740, while the site is not even half paid off.

Over 24 months (full payment duration): $14,976 of additional gross margin generated, against $5,496 of total cost. Net return: +$9,480.

Example 2: A life coach as a sole trader with the Essentiel package over 36 months

A Martinique life coach invests in the Essentiel package at $49/month over 36 months.

    Average price per session: $80.

She only needs 0.6 clients per month to break even on the site ($49 ÷ $80). In other words, if she gets even one client every two months thanks to the site, it has paid for itself.

If she gets 3 clients per month through Google visibility and the integrated sales funnel, her monthly return is $240 in revenue for $49 invested, a return of over 5x.

    Cumulative Comparison Over 5 Years

SolutionTotal Investment Over 5 YearsOwnership at the End
Linkeo ($92/month subscription)~$5,520No (website disabled if subscription stops)
BPM Lunace (now defunct) (setup + $228/month with 24-month minimum commitment)~$12,000Varies depending on contract
Wix/Webador (DIY approach)~$1,150Yes, but with variable quality
    Traditional local agency (setup + $92/month maintenance)~$11,260Yes
IT Luxuoso Essential 36-month plan~$2,720 incl. taxYes, full ownership

Over five years, IT Luxuoso Essentiel is the most cost-effective investment in the table, with full ownership at the end and the standards of a premium agency.

IT Luxuoso is the only premium web agency in Martinique, and that shows in every one of our production standards, whether it is design, strategy or client support. But every business starts somewhere. That is exactly why we designed offers that adapt to different stages of development.

Our Essentiel package is our most accessible offer. What you see in this table is the total cost of a delivered site, complete, with one year of maintenance included. Once that milestone is reached, you own your site and are free to choose the path that fits your ambition. We have other offers ready to support your evolution when you are.

A concrete example of what an Essentiel site looks like: detends-toit.com. Clean, effective, professional. The level of craft is identical to that of our Premium projects, only the scope differs.

What is striking is that our most ambitious clients usually do not wait long. On average, six months after the delivery of their Essentiel site, they naturally come back for a more advanced offer. Not because we push them, but because their site starts generating results and they want to go further.

    And After 36 Months?

At the end of your payment plan, you are the owner of the site, the domain name, the content, the images. If you want to continue with proactive maintenance, evolutions or new features, we offer custom contracts. If you prefer to handle it yourself, that is your choice, with no penalty whatsoever.

No obligation. No tacit renewal. That is what an honest web contract should look like.

This comparison highlights what truly makes IT Luxuoso different in the Martinique market: an approach designed to make a website profitable before it is even fully paid off. While many agencies primarily sell technical features, IT Luxuoso focuses first on visibility, sales, and business growth.

The objective is not simply to deliver a “beautiful” or “functional” website, but to build a platform capable of evolving alongside the company for years. This combination of transparency, flexibility, strategic support, long-term vision, and progressive growth is precisely why some clients begin generating strong returns only a few months after launch.

Frequently Asked Questions About Website Quotes in Martinique

How long does it take to create a website in Martinique?

Delivery times vary depending on the service and the agency. An AI-generated site (like Havas Publidom's Starter Express) is delivered in 1 to 2 days. A standard showcase site takes 2 to 4 weeks with most agencies, an e-commerce site 4 to 8 weeks.

Short timelines can look attractive, but they hide a reality many clients discover too late: a 2-week delivery leaves very little room for back-and-forth, corrections, or vision adjustments. The client receives a site, validates in a rush, and ends up with a result that does not quite feel like theirs. Worse, some agencies charge for every additional round of revisions.

At IT Luxuoso, the process works in two stages. Within 48 hours of the initial strategy meeting, a first presentation page is published online: your business is immediately visible on the web, with the essential information and your visual identity. No waiting. Then, the final site is built over an average of 2 to 4 months. That timeline is not slowness, it is a method. It includes several rounds of client validation, fine adjustments on design, content, user journeys and Google visibility. The final result is a site you recognise as truly yours, not a template thrown together in a hurry.

For example, the MonBonKado e-commerce site, a Premium project with high technical requirements, was delivered in 3 months. Exactly the time it needed to be done right.

What is the difference between a $200 site and a $5,000 site?

A $200 site is a template installed quickly, with generic content and full responsibility on the client for any evolution. Some cheap platforms also impose technical constraints that limit your ability to appear naturally in Google search results. A $5,000 site usually includes custom design, strategic support, technical assistance and genuine visual personalisation.

The most concrete difference concerns your Google visibility. A well-built site can appear for free in the top results when a potential client searches for your activity. That is free, permanent advertising, working for you 24/7 with no additional budget. A client who finds you that way is already convinced before they even contact you. The more competitive your sector and the broader your target market, the more time and work this visibility takes to install. But once it is in place, it generates a steady flow of clients without depending on paid ads you have to keep feeding.

The right choice depends on your level of ambition and how much you value being found by your future clients before your competitors are.

How to Get a Truly Transparent Quote for Your Website

The Martinique web creation market is opaque, fragmented and hard to navigate. But by following five simple principles, you can make an informed decision.

Always ask for comparable quotes, with the same functional scope at each agency you consult. Count all costs over a minimum of three years, not just the headline price. Verify ownership at the end of the contract and the commitment duration explicitly. Favour proactive over reactive maintenance. And above all, choose a partner capable of growing with your business, like a great t-shirt that evolves with you instead of leaving you stuck in your Spiderman when you become an adult.

    Book Your 2-Hour Strategy Meeting

Free. No commitment. No sales pitch.

No PowerPoint. No prefab script. Just a deep conversation in a place that matters to you: the river, the sea, your favourite café, your workplace. We leave the laptops at the office, we bring a notebook, and we build your web vision together.

This is how every real IT Luxuoso project begins.

Prefer to see prices and configure your project online?

Our transparent configurator gives you an instant quote based on the package you pick (Essentiel, Business, Premium) and the payment terms (upfront, 12, 24 or 36 months).

No surprises. No hidden costs. No "let's talk about it later."

Why is it so difficult to get a website quote in Martinique?

Three meetings. An in-person introduction to a national director. And still no proposal. This is not an isolated incident. When I analyzed the Martinique web market before launching IT Luxuoso, half the agencies I contacted never replied. Some do not even return calls. This flaw is systemic. And it has a name.
